First months of 1978, I was in Sydney for an audit of the KLM organisation in Australia🇦🇺. A memorabel time which changed my life completely. At that time KLM Royal Dutch Airlines 🇱🇺 had a direct B747 connection between Amsterdam via Zürich, Dubai, Singapore to Sydney and Melbourne. And a crew stationed in Melbourne. In Sydney, I stayed in the Gazebo Hotel (1st photo, which I got from the hoteldesk) at Kings Cross. 2nd and 3rd photo both show the view from my hotelroom. 4th photo shows a sundown and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The last photo, which I bought in a Sydney shop, shows the Sydney Harbour in 1978, with the famous Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. Sydney, one of the greatest and most beautiful cities in the world. Bondi Beach, Manly, the Rock, Kings Cross. A trip to the Blue Mountains. The wonderfull people I met.
Although I also stayed in Melbourne, Brisbane as well as Surfers Paradise/Gold Coast (Easter weekend), I know I only explored a part of this impressive country/continent.
